Drowned Syrian boys buried in hometown they fled
KUCUK KENDIRLI, Turkey (AP) — The Syrian man who survived a capsizing during a desperate voyage from Turkey to Greece buried his wife and two sons on Friday in their hometown of Kobani, returning them to the conflict-torn Syrian Kurdish region they had fled.
Frustration grows among refugees at Hungarian train stations
BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — Hundreds of frustrated refugees stuck at Budapest's Keleti train station gathered up their belongings Friday and vowed to make their way to Vienna on foot. But the protest was short-lived — after whistling and marching around the station they settled back down to continue a wait that has dragged on for days.
