NEW YORK (AP) — Keegan Bradley hasn't stopped thinking about playing in another Ryder Cup. U.S. captain Tom Watson gave him that chance Tuesday night.
Watson's first of three picks to fill out his team was Bradley. He missed qualifying for the team by about $240,000 and has not won a tournament in two years. But he went 3-0 in a partnership with Phil Mickelson two years ago at Medinah before losing to Rory McIlroy in singles.
Earlier Tuesday, European captain Paul McGinley selected Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood and Stephen Gallacher.
The matches are Sept. 26-28 at Gleneagles in Scotland. Europe has won seven of the last nine times.Associated Press
