(AP) — A wind-shipped fire destroyed a house under construction in Beverly, Massachusetts and the flames spread to several adjacent homes. No one was injured.

Deputy Bill Petrosino, of the Beverly Fire Department, says Sunday night's blaze started in the unfinished house and spread to two other homes that were also under construction. He says four occupied homes had some damage from the fire, and residents had evacuated. The fire started around 9:30 p.m. and Petrosino says it was under control by about 11 p.m.

No word on the cause of the blaze, but investigators are at the scene.
