(AP) — A legislative panel overseeing Maryland's troubled health care exchange website will get an update on how the state is transitioning to technology that worked much better in Connecticut.

The committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday in Annapolis.

The state's health exchange board voted in April to use technology from Connecticut, where the website used by people to enroll in a health plan was successful. Maryland is working on building a better exchange website for the next open enrollment period in November. Maryland's website crashed almost as soon as it opened Oct. 1.

The panel also is scheduled to get an update on enrollment.

An overview of an upcoming performance audit by the Office of Legislative Audits also is scheduled to be presented to the panel.
